The Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA) can help you prepare for, find, and keep a job. To be eligible, you must have a physical or mental disability that makes it difficult for you to prepare for, get, or keep work. Specialized GVRA programs include Deaf, Deaf-Blind, and Hard of Hearing services and Blind and Low Vision Field Services.

The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) lists resources for job seekers with disabilities, gives tips for choosing the right career and making an effective job search, and has a Job Seekers Guide covering all of the steps of looking for work.

Team Georgia Careers offers a searchable list of all job openings with the State of Georgia.

WorkSource Georgia offers a variety of tools and resources to help with your job search and career exploration. (Note: You need to register for their online portal or choose "guest access" to use their tools and resouces.)

CareerOneStop.org has information on careers, education, and training; practical tips on resumes and interviews; job search guidance; and local employment assistance.

Ticket to Work

Social Security’s Ticket to Work Program helps people with disabilities who get Social Security benefits re-enter the workforce and become more independent. The Ticket to Work Program offers free access to employment-related services, such as training, transportation, and vocational rehabilitation. You can call the Ticket to Work Help Line at 1-866-968-7842 or 1-866-833-2967 (TTY).
